Man's
relationship with the horse is ever-evolving, therefore
we must remember that the fundamental physiological needs
of the horse have remained constant over time.
We must
continually strive to find a 'happy medium' whereby we
can enjoy our equine leisure and competition activities
without detriment to the physiological and psychological
health of the horse.
It is impossible and impractical
for our horses to return to their 'free-roaming' roots
and lifestyle, but we can make a difference by providingthem with the type of diet and nutrition that they were
designed to eat.
